What does it cost

It depends a little bit on which employer and position we place you with, however in almost all instances the foreign employer  pays for your travel expenses to and from Canada / America.  They also typically pay the program and recruitment expenses so  your financial contribution is kept to a minimum.

Your contribution to the expenses, IF you are approved will be the following:

1)  A medical and drug test in South Africa, to confirm you are in good health and capable to perform the job at hand.

2) Visa expenses at the Canadian high commission in Pretoria.

3) Any study materials, you will need for your Canadian licence.

4) Pocket money for your first week in Canada, in order to buy food and settle in.

In order for Away2Xplore to invest in your travel expenses and processing your application, we will require someone to sign  as a co-surety in South Africa. This would only be required after you have been approved for the position and we are making  arangements for your work visa and tickets.
